The Children’s Ark School is a Department of Education School in University Hospital Limerick catering for the ongoing education of children in hospital both at Primary and Second levels. The purpose-built school was opened in 2014.

The support provided by the JP McManus Benevolent Fund:

• Allowed the school to complete its Department of Education purpose-built school. This included built-in units, signage and items for the Outdoor Learning Area;
• Will enable the school to continue to resource itself with the latest learning materials to ensure that it is a centre of excellence for all students and catering for all their needs.
