Clarisford Park is a community and sport facility located on the banks of the River Shannon in Killaloe, Co. Clare.

The support from the JP McManus Benevolent Fund:

• Enabled the development of an intergenerational sports hall.

The intergenerational sports hall is the most recent addition to the sports playing pitches, all-weather pitch, training paddocks, walking trail and open parkland at Clarisford Park. In excess of 2,500 young and old use the Park on a weekly basis facilitating change in the community, growing friendships, developing social relationships and flourishing community spirit into undertaking new initiatives to improve health and wellbeing.
