Ennis Mental Health Association
Ennis Mental Health Association was founded in 1992 and is an organisation affiliated to Mental Health Ireland. The aim of the Ennis Mental Health Association is to promote positive mental health and wellbeing to all individuals and communities, and to support people who experience mental health difficulties on their journey of recovery as well as to their families and carers.
The funding from the JP McManus Benevolent Fund has:
- Helped with the renovation of the Ennis Mental Health Association centre.
The renovation of the building will allow Ennis Mental Health Association to provide the following:
- A base for Mental Health Ireland’s Development Officer;
- An Education Room for Positive Mental Health Programmes;
- An area for a pop-up café/catering, the Ennis Mental Health Association Office, Relaxation Room and Activity Room.;
- A facility for other community groups to use for meetings, etc.
