Broadford Ashford Walking Trails is a series of trails developed between the villages of Ashford and Broadford in South West Limerick. The trails total 65km and include trails for the beginner as well as some challenging climbs for the more advanced hiker. The walking trails go through a variety of terrain with beautiful views over South West Limerick.

The support from the JP McManus Benevolent Fund:

• Enabled the improvement and extension of the trails;
• Assisted with the erection of directional signs and also story boards containing details of local history, folklore, flora and fauna;
• Provided for the marketing of the facility via website and brochures.
